I have signed up with WA in September 2016. It's been a few months now that I am here, and am truly enjoying the learning, the community, the tips, the whole nine yards. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time on hands as I wish I had to do more here at WA. One thing is clear to me - in order to progress one needs content on his/her site. We all know that, right? Kyle is prompting us to do so in his Certification training - fill up your site with contents. Write! And let me add something else - write more! You got an idea about a post - jot it down, and then develop it into a full length post with pictures. I was following the training to the dot, and was only writing when told to do so. But my progress isn't very quick due to the luck of time (or may be just to the luck of self organization :)), anyway, while you are working on your lessons don't stop on your post writing! Guess what?

While you are working on a lesson that takes time, your site is sitting there with just a handful of posts. So learn and write. Never stop writing even if Kyle doesn't mention it in a lesson. Let your site bloom! Every site is like a cherry tree, and every post is that small beautiful flower that brings joy to you and your visitors. Let it be small, but let there be many.

Write!

Hi, Katy, thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's one thing I've always done. I keep a book and am forever jotting some thought down. All the best.
Ann

That is the core craft that gives purpose to our business Katy Thanks for the mention!

The best advice for all of us! I am a writer and am writing all of the time; Much of it is for others, which causes me to 'neglect' my own site, which is unfortunate but necessary for helping to pay the bills.

I would add the following advice to your post:

Write!

THANKS for the reminder. I need to start booking time on my calendar to just write. Like many of us, I still have a couple gigs for income. Excuses will not win the day--writing content will.
