When Honeymoon is over.
So I've been with WA for a year now, which is great. I loved it here. I thought I can take it anywhere with me, even when I travel. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I got too distracted. I have also noticed that when initial excitement wears out, I get bored. That not only comes down to WA but to other things as well. The only thing that I didn't get bored with and it still interests me is my family, which is fantastic otherwise I'd be long divorced by now.
Does something like that happen to you too? How do you find it with yourself to continue plugging in and do the do?
I'd love to hear your thoughts on that.
Cheers,
Katya.

Hi Katya,
What was it that first excited you when you first joined WA. Was it the fact that you could actually be a successful online business entrepreneur? What is it that started giving you the feeling of boredom? Perhaps coming up with material to write about pertaining to your niche? If so, check out other what other bloggers are writing about as it relates to your niche. I myself experienced this issue and found new inspiration through what others were blogging about. The important thing is to find out what initially sparked your interest and find out how you can respark that flame. I don't know if this makes any sense to you but I hope it helps you in some way.

What drives you that is what you have to ask yourself. Like for me I want to one day work full time from home. I been blogging for a while and had a lot of ups and downs but I eventually started to see results from the work that I put in and that work has replaced my wife's income so keep at it look at it as an investment and not some choir, and most of all set a goal and remember why you are doing what you are doing either it is financial freedom or to have more time to spend with your family and loved ones.
Katya, you sound a bit like my daughter :) You wouldn't be a Gemini by any chance lol! It is hard sometimes to be positive and remain focused especially if there has been no response or traffic to your website. Well I know I have experienced this and I tell myself if it is to be then it is up to me as I hop back up on the horse so to speak.
Wishing all the very best

I think when you have a passion about a topic you strive to keep getting information and/or products out there that support your niche. At times I get distracted by other life matters and writer's block, but then I refocus my efforts and remind myself that what I have to say and offer could be valuable to others. It's the passion of the topic and desire to share that keeps me focused over time.
Hope this helps. Best wishes on regenerating your interest in your special niche!
I don't know about getting bored Katya. I think my issues are stemming more from mental block and wee bit of procrastination.
Good hearing from ya' kiddo!
I haven't really had the time really get to writing on my site, but I can say for me to get out of that funk of boredom. I find way too make fun again, like just say with the site you make. I would think about the money eventually down the road I could make, that could put in me in a position to work from home. Or just put in goals that will make me want to work towards them. I just try too enjoy life all of us get bored I bet. I know I sure do I always try my best too make whatever it is fun again so I can enjoy doing that thing. I hope that helped some, I hope you get too find a way too enjoy writing on your site.
Thank you! I guess I need to be a little more organized. I organize everything and everybody around so when it comes to me I have no energy :-)

I get bored quite easily. If something becomes monotonous to me then I quickly lose interest. I don't feel that way about WA because there's always something new to work on or to learn and it's evolving quite frequently.
All the best,
Sue
