Niche too much of a niche?

Is it possible my niche is too much of a niche?

I picked needle felting supplies. It's a hobby I'm in love with and a topic that is hard to find resources on, but can it be too small of a niche?

Is it ok if I post more things than just supplies on my page? These are the things that I've been thinking of as I start this journey.

I am nervous. And excited.

Let's see where this goes.

Before you choose a niche , it is very important to do a market research to see if there is market for your topic.
It is nice that you are passionate about your topic, but are there others who are also passionate?

Your topic is specific and that's very good.
Have you çhecked to see if there are Affiliate products for your niche?
You can check this by typing in your niche + affiliate product or niche + affiliate programs
Can you please let me know how you get on?

As an expert in it, joking aside, it gets some small but exciting searches. It would certainly be a niche where you could create your products and provide people with tools. But tonight, I learned something new! So whatever you decide, you have the right idea.

Thank you!

That sounds like a very interesting niche.
If you have a hard time finding resources others on the internet will too. So this is your opportunity to help others.

When you first start it is best to start with a narrow focus so you can eliminate a lot of competition and be the best website there is for your narrow niche. Once you publish a number of posts and grow your traffic you can expand your niche to other related scopes. I checked Jaaxy and noticed it listed projects and instruction too as key words.

Who would your niche be for? Beginners, advanced?
To be successful it is important to define your target audience and then write posts for them. Help them and solve their problems. Such websites grow in traffic very well.

What group of people do you want to help? What do you want to help them with? What problems can you share solutions for? (helping comes in the form of how tos, definitions, guides, comparisons, product reviews, best ofs)

Kyle always asks us to complete the following statement.
I want to help ____(group) with ______(problem)

Here's an example.
I like camping and what to help campers buy the right equipment to make their camping experience more pleasant and safe.

Camping is a very broad topic with a lot of competition so to eliminate some competition in the beginning so the website has a chance to grow, the focus needs to be a smaller scope. For example essential camping equipment for beginners. Once the website is established and has a good volume, its scope can be expanded to include other things camping related.

I so get that.

Mine would be I want to help needle felters with finding supplies and knowing what supplies are for what.

It is a niche craft in itself. So it's difficult to get started! I spent weeks looking into getting started!

Your niche is good.
I see you have completed level 2 training.
Have you written some posts for your niche yet?

You can include definitions,.how to, comparison of products, review of products.

We hope Jaaxy is helping your find some good keyword phrases for post titles.

I have written a few!
I've been good with the SEO. A couple of the keywords were 100!

supplies, patterns, how to guides, common struggles, anything that fits with the niche

Thank you that is very helpful!
