I'm in. Now the Real Work Begins

Got a birthday present like no other today. I've been selected to participate in the Super Affiliate Challenge!

Scary and exciting at the same time. Delighted at the thought of where I'll be in a year...how can I not. The training works. I can become a knowledgeable, smart, business owner. If there is a small voice that says 'no you can't', right at my left shoulder, its small. I take comfort in that.

I chose a card this morning, Hawk...talking about making the choice and bringing your focus to bear on this choice like a laser. Nice to get confirmation in any form, even a power animal card, lol...I admit I find comfort in them, they always seem to be bang on to what I'm dealing with, and have something positive, intuitive and wise, to say.

So this grandma has something new to focus on! I've been a couple years dabbling in network marketing again, but it holds no excitement for me anymore, and fizzled out the moment I needed to prospect someone who was not my kid ! ha ha the stigma around network marketing is a frightful thing to come up against. Not for the faint of heart.

I have also been helping my daughter a lot, with her two little boys! We're sharing our home with them at the moment, so a very busy and tumultuous household! These boys are wild ! crazy little critters that don't stop all day! They wonder why I keep slipping away and hiding in my office with the door locked...

But I have this intense fascination with WA. I can't stop looking at my website and writing for my website and thinking and thinking about it! ha ha I'm obsessed I think!

So I zoom away when they're not looking and boom, back in my chair, working.

So awesome.

When my kids all left home, I really hit a wall. I wandered about, not knowing who or what for several years. What was my purpose now? Who was I ? What was I to be doing now, that would capture my interest, and keep me working? Haveing an 8-5 job was out of the question because of my troublesome spinal injury.

So here I found this community of WA and I'm stuck fast, advancing on my new career

"Whatcha doin?" people ask me. I say 'learning to be an affiliate marketer.' "Oh, wassat? is it like a network marketer?" <they shudder> I wont even try to explain. Just hand them a link to wealthy affiliate, go check it for yourself.

For now I'm just happy to get up every day, pry the little grandkids off my legs, sneak away, this way, that way, leap into my office when they're not looking, and get to work on my website!

Looking at this great community, I wanna say, I'm gonna need help to complete this challenge! I know there will be someone to answer my dumbest of questions! someone to help me over the stumbling blocks, someone to help me understand particulars better.

That's what sets the Wealthy Affiliate Community apart from others. So many wanting to help you achieve success. Its uplifting.
