Sad Little Girl
Once upon a time there was a girl who lived on a dairy farm. She was a tomboy all the way she followed her daddy around like a lost puppy. She started milking cows at the age of nine she learned to run the dairy all by herself, and due to her older sister being deaf having ear disease and in hospital a lot, she did run the dairy all by herself plenty of times.
Just a country girl, she knew of nothing else. As she grew ,she started to realize how her childhood was taken away. She remembers always wanting to ride in the wagon train with her cousin. She loved horses , so her dad told her that she could go one weekend. Wagon train is a bunch of people getting together and just having fun, riding their horses and camping out just stuff like that. Dad told her she could go if she worked hard the week before the wagon train. This little 10 year old girl worked harder than a man that week. She got up at 3 am ,milked cows till 7 am. She drove a big old ford truck, stick shift back and forth hauling hay , this was in between milking because she had to milk again at 3 pm till 7 pm .
To make a long story short she worked her butt off that summer especially that week hoping to ride in wagon train. She never owned a horse but her cousin was going to let her ride with her. She was so excited she could barely sleep when Friday rolled around. She only wanted to go on Saturday and camp out Sat night. She knew better than to push it and ask to go all weekend.
Friday morning while milking her daddy came up with a thousand reasons why she could not go. It broke her heart but she never said a word. She was raised not to talk back to mama and daddy so she just dropped her head and walked away.
This blog is to see, I need to do better. A lot has happened in between but, that is for a different blog and a different time. I love to write. I will believe in myself and I will do good I will make enough money to take care of my son. YES I WILL.

Yes, Sad, but very nice story. Is this fiction or autobiographic?
Best to you
Big Daddy Fred
I have two daughters and I always tried to do everything for them I could, but financially many times I had to say no. One situation involving fresh Georgia peaches comes to mind. These things stick with me, but that's just an old sad dad story.
Best of everything to you!
Big Daddy Fred
Hey it may be a sad dad story but someone out there may want to read that story and may learn something from it. I am going to do a blog site and some of the things I post will bring back bad memories but I am hoping it will help someone else. You hang in there. I bet your girls think you are the best daddy in the world.
You are correct and it will work for me in a blog. Thanks! The nice part is that now I am older, they are grown with kids and every once in a while I can help them with their dreams a bit financially!
