There Is a Silver Lining .

I've been absent for quite some time from here. I'm not really trying to make excuses, but with COVID-19 happening, it's sent the world spinning and me into a spiral. At first I thought that spiral was taking me down as one after the next my family began to lose their jobs due to the lockdowns and shutdowns, and I ended up suporting them all.

Up until this year, I'd felt pretty comfortable: with enough savings to prop up a very modest income and no real worries about money for a long time. But suddenly being thrown into supporting two adult families including myself, has had the inevitable impact and there have been times I've felt my back is now against the wall.

There isn't a better feeling to focus the mind.

And focussed I now am. Digging deep into my past experiences in sales and marketing and later on as CEO of a small tech company, I've brushed off my corporate hat and began to think of the online world in terms of business rather than as a hobby.

This is a new beginning for me and for the first time in a very long time I am focussed on my path, and am determined and confident that I will achieve my goals.
