The Prodigal Daughter Returns
I've been away from here for quite a long time and with every intention to return to this community, as it was from here that I was catapulted into a new area of affiliate marketing and have spent the last 12 months, not blogging that much, but rather exploring other social media marketing platforms.
It's been a ride with as many downs as there have been ups, but a ride, nonetheless, that I would not have missed. I have struggled with alogrithms, learned the nuances of advertising on FB and Google, and email marketing, created a podcast and a YouTube channel, developed some courses, built some funnels, and been interviewed as an influencer.
My head is full of new knowledge and sometimes I need to pull my hat down hard in case it explodes!
Now, at the end of the year, as I look back at my achievements and plan where to take my business during 2022, I feel I am better placed to offer advise and encouragement to people following behind. Those feelings of imposter syndrome have long since gone replaced by the kind of knowledge you can only get from the experience of doing.
I have many exciting plans for the coming year and part of that is to be more active in this community.
