My First Referral: The Power of Positive Momentum

So I got some exciting news today...two separate emails from Kyle and Carson, one announcing that I got my first referral for a Jaaxy trial, and one for my first Wealthy Affiliate referral!

For those of you who have been doing this for a while, I know that isn't a big deal. For me, though, after hours and hours of work and several hundred dollars invested in my blog, it's huge!

Everything Worthwhile Takes Time

When I first started selling through Amazon Associates, I'd get pretty discouraged. Once a week or so, I'd eagerly check my account, only to encounter a sad, flat line to nowhere.

These days, my account looks more like this:

Ok, so I'm still not a millionaire. And to be honest, it's a little dispiriting to see all those clicks and so little money in proportion.

At the same time, though, it's movement. It's momentum.

Every big goal unfolds through small, incremental changes. Before you know it, you'll be there!

I remember, for instance, when I was trying to lose weight. It seemed like I wasn't making any progress. Then when I went home to visit family after being away for college, they couldn't believe how different I looked!

I know the same will be true with my bank account. So those of you like myself who are new to affiliate marketing and wondering when the big earnings are going to start rolling in...hang in there!

I know if we ride the wave of the positive momentum, it will only keep getting better!
