Cheap Website Traffic,Does it Work?

I'm doing a test...
Years ago it used to be the simple to build an affiliate review site. They would basically just build a wp blog and review the top 10 products in every category of Clickbank.
They still do but little bit different now. Instead of reviews though, it's just a really interesting article on a topic and leads into a soft pitch for the affiliate product.
It is done with re-billing product or membership sites. Stuff like games,bodybuilding supplements, green coffee bean supplements, green energy, how to get your ex back, make money online courses, etc.
The idea is that you create one big entertaining/educational site that appeals to a specific demographic. For example mine will target kids age 18-25.
Each article is written as soft review or problem solution to the product that is mentioned in the article. This way each article can be marketed by very cheap paid traffic.
By driving massive low cost traffic I will then also be able to sell advertising space on the site to people looking for this demographic. Which will allow me to buy even more and better traffic. (and get more and better advertisers)
This test will get you a lot of interesting information.It can make you little money on the side.
