It is not just a matter of chance... as you navigated what appears to be very turbulent rapids... I am pretty sure you had to tap into all the knowledge and experience you had regarding Kayaking to get down the river to your destination ( looks like one exciting ride!). The same is true with Internet marketing and WA... to reach to your ultimate goal, you learn a lot in a short amount of time, add new skills to your resume, combine that with your existing knowledge Base and take a chance by stepping up to create your own viable online business... Stepping up is taking a chance... success comes only when you finish what you started... it is no easy task... sometimes adjustments need to be made... but the reward begins with the first order and builds from there. And like kayaking, it's one heck of a ride! Congratulations! Julie
Thanks Julie
I know exactly what you mean. and the web is just like a river you need to learn how to work with the flow of the river as I am learning to work with the internet. If you try go against it you will never get far. The new skills are definitely needed in order to navigate the river as we need to learn the IM skills here at WA in order to create a successful and viable business.
Adjustments are what separate the successful people from the ones who give up because its too hard to adjust to the change. If we can learn to adjust and become even better then we will be successful for sure.
Hopefully together we can all be a success here at WA
I want to know too. Is that you? We definitely all take a chance by joining and committing to WA.
It is me. We go kayaking when there is enough rain to full up the rivers and make it exciting.
How is your journey at WA going?
My journey here at WA is going well. I've been a bit behind putting together an article for "Street Articles." Once I get over that hurdle I think I'll be sailing - or kayaking through. Have a great day.
All is well. Sites are up and down. One is really giving me a headache, but its all good. :)
The rewards are the business that is starting to take shape. Commissions are just a positive extra that comes with a good business.
It is me. We had an awesome trip on the river over the weekend. South Africa has some of the most beautiful rivers.
How is your experience going at WA?
Man, judging on the photo, you are a "badass"! My respect.
I am speechless.
My experience is gaining momentum, if I can say that.
I am still in trenches and firing at the enemy, my ignorance.
Hi Christine
This was on the Umkomass near Richmond.
Was lots of fun.
How are you keeping? How is your business going?
Making slow progress here at Wa, but my practice seems to be picking up a bit, which is good, more patients today.
You mentioned starting a group of South Africans in WA. did anything come of that?I looked at your website and left you a comment. It is looking good.
I did not know there is a river called Umkomass. I know that name for sour milk only
( Umkomazi). BTW, do you speak Zulu?
Glad you are having fun!
That is great news!! I am glad you are making progress.
I haven't yet. But it is on my Action List. We must do it, I really think all of us South Africans will benefit from having a group.
Thank you very much for the Comment. It is much appreciated.
I grew up on a farm so I used to speak Zulu but I have lost it a bit since I have moved off the farm. Do you speak Zulu?
I worked in Soweto clinics a long time ago and spoke Zulu with my patients, had enough vocabulary for the medical context.I am sure you are much more fluent, my knowledge is rudimentary.
That must have been an amazing experience working in the clinics.
I would love to be able to do that one day. I really would like to be able to help people. I admire anyone who can help make sick people better, I think this is one of the best skills in the world. Are you qualified in the medical field?
I wish I had kept it up. I can follow a conversation ok but I am not confident in my vocabulary any more.
I am a medical doctor, but you can qualify as a paramedic without studying for 7 years, perhaps you would like to do that, you seem to like excitement.Your Zulu will come back quickly if you revise it and practise it. Try the petrol attendants, shops, and you must hear it spoken all around you.
I revised my French recently, my 4th language, and can at least understand quite a bit even if I am not fluent.
That is amazing. Where did you study?
I would really like to do that.
I need to spend some time working on my Zulu
I studied at the University of the Witwatersrand and had a service contract for three years. I worked at Soweto Clinics for 1,5 years. Those were the days before cellphones or internet. When I was there, I was basically lost to civilisation for the day. We only had radio contact. I can't remember why the phones were so pathetic.
I then worked at Kempton Park Hospital for a while and practised my Afrikaans.
Your Zulu will come back quickly if you apply yourself a little, you'll see!
Good luck!
My home language and mother tongue is German, English is my second language, both were taught at first language level,Afrikaans my third, taught as second language, and French my fourth was taught as third language.I was just lucky to be exposed to so many, but French was my choice, not compulsory.

Hi Karl, I went white water rafting in New Zealand about 12 years ago. It was not any where near as wild as in your kayak photo, but it was my first and only time. Taking a chance every now and then is not an option, otherwise you remain a part of the herd. Dare to be different!
Hi Annie
New Zealand is a beautiful place. My Cousin has recently moved there.
We definitely have a head start from the heard being here at WA. We can learn the skills we need to be able to stand out as a successful IM.
How is your journey going here at WA?
Hi Karl, I'm reviewing keyword training to tweak my website again. I have aha moments every now and then when something else drops into place in my mind. :)
Tweaking and improving sounds good. I can't wait to get there.
I hope you are sharing your aha moments so we can all learn from you?
What has your latest aha been?
