Hi Karl, we will miss him, for sure. He also had such a sense of humour! Our country is poorer without him, but rich in the legacy that he left us. Lydia.
Hi Karl, yes I did! I think the planning was excellent, considering the amount of people and the rain! And president Obama's speech was really touching. Just a bit noisy at times, but that's our people, hey. Did you hear the vuvuzela?
I did, they were very loud. It is a pity some of our people don't know how to behave, especially at such a special occasion with the world watching, makes us look terrible. I really enjoyed Obama's speech especially his small dig he had at Magabe, hahaha I enjoyed that.
The planning did did go off very well, I was very impressed. At least we did one thing well.
A sad day indeed in our South African history. Madiba will be sadly missed and one can only hope that the rainbow nation takes note of his greater dream in that Africa will be at peace with it self.......a great man and a legend in his own time..........Hamba kahle Madiba.
We are all really hoping this!! It would be a dream come true if the rainbow nation could do this.
Yes, Madiba was one of the most inspirational people to ever walk this planet. I'm sure he's up there now watching over everyone.
That's a great quote above, and very true.
I also like this quote from Madiba "I am not a saint, unless you think of a saint as a sinner who keeps on trying." He may not be a saint but, even though he has sinned, he is just as great as a saint.
