'Motion controls our emotions'
Hello WA Family !
This is my very first time writing a blog here at Wealthy Affiliate and I must say I feel really good doing it!, as I have made a choice today to do something different from what I would do on a normal day.
'I am striving for a change'
Just a few weeks ago I had been laid up in bed procrastinating the worst thought's ever, whilst trying to think about the good, then suddenly I realized I needed to break this habit ASAP!, before the situation became worst.
I did this by telling myself I need to get my ass up to move! and believe me, ever since that day I have been feeling like a brand new person.
'Motion controls our emotions'
Now that I have learned our motion control's our emotion's, I've been able to:
1. Think more clearly
2. Stay proactive
3. Find enjoyment in my activities's that I do
4. Change my attitude
5. Be open-minded
6. Smile more again
How do you maintain this positive energy?
I maintain this energy by:
1. Exercising every morning for at least 5-10 minutes
2. Eating healthy foods/snacks
3. Reading motivational quote's every morning and evening
4. Setting daily/weekly/monthly goals to achieve
5. Switching off my phone
6. Getting a good amount of sleep
'Just the slightest change in our thought's can make such a big difference to our life'
The reason I have posted this today is that I have neglected my website and other goal's for nearly a month now. All what was stopping me was my bad habit's, to change these habit's all i needed to do was change my mindset!, even though I temporarily stopped achieving my goal's, I'm proud to say I have found the motivation again to get back to where I started and remembered why I started, and you can do the same if you've fallen off track.
'Control your mind, don't let your mind control you'
I truly just want to inspire you all through sharing my experience to continue achieving your goal's here at WA.
So far it has been an amazing experience and a place which is worth investing time in.

Yes, having the right mindset helps.
I've just completed a 4 week meditation/mindfulness course and it really does help - "control your mind and don't let your mind control you"

Good for you, I am so proud that you are making some positive changes towards your future. I have also found that music can inspire the soul. I have found that music has helped me get out of a slump or depressive state of mind. I made a positive playlist for myself, so when I don't feel like doing anything, I take 30 minutes out of my day to listen to it. My playlist empowers me and encourages me to move forward. It may be something that you want to look into or try. Keep up the good work!

I actually have a few playlists that I listen to to energise me when I’m demotivated, classical music also helps a lot!, once that’s on I can’t stop writing/ typing lol
What a great post, Kamala! You are so right to exercise and eat correctly as this affects our minds and can make us more (or less) productive. Also, switching off the phone is HUGE...You have, essentially, kicked your own butt! Hope it's okay, we are following you!
