What's the "hard Part" about online marketing?
Caption Affiliate log 6:
After completing most of my website and content on it, and applying what I learned in the first 9 lessons,I think there's some progress. I'm gaining a few clicks from one of my blogs but still, the urge of knowing "What's the hard part?" comes to my mind.
Because often I hear that it takes "hard work" to make money online and that nothing is overnight but I beg to question: "What exactly IS the hard part?"
Is it being patient?

I understand nothing was done overnight for the success stories on here, but right before the successful part of anything, were anyone nervous and impatient about their results? Waiting weeks or months before you earned a commission from an affiliate program? Be patient, you're day is coming, but it might never come if you simply give up.
Is it The SEO stuff?

SEO is no doubt one of the pivotal steps to building your blog or site/landing page and ranking it up on the search engines. But for some, perhaps, it's just a bit complex for them to grasp. Sometimes, even with the right keywords and QSR ratings to match, you're still unsure sometimes if what keywords you're using will bring optimum results or high conversion rates to the table. Know your niche and what people in your niche are searching for, that's key.
Is it not being able to afford advertising?

For some before starting Wealthy Affiliate, all they knew was free methods of advertising and ineffective ways to build their brand that produced no results. Even still, after training, many are probably struggling with the reality that sometimes it does take some money to make and recuperate income back, yet can't afford it. I'm guessing this could be a challenge for several who might be using this platform for the first time, want to upgrade but simply don't have the money to do so yet. Get an actual part-time/full time job, Drive uber, do something, save your money, or invest and you won't run out of money. Simple as that.
Is it creating content?
Content is king online and unless you're a skilled writer or have been typing blogs for several years, I could tell that most struggle with this part as writing comprehensive content might not be for everyone. Some of us probably didn't get good grades in English or writing classes in primary school or college so that might explain why a majority find typing up content to be" Hard" or"frustrating" and eventually give up. Don't feel too bad, I was in special ed for most of my schooling career, didn't know how to read at 12 years old and yet look what I achieve thus far? Just put in the work, practice and patience, and you'll go places.
Is it not having adequent tools to succeed?

I've been in affiliate marketing for over a decade and can confess to listing the basic type of tools one needs to earning the type of money they dream of. We all know that a landing page, website, an autoresponder and attraction video marketing goes hand in hand for the most successful high earners in this industry. Yet, the hard part for alot of folks could easily be merging all the tools together and where to find the right type of training to use these tools. For others, affordability comes into play. We could have all of the tools in the world to succeed as well, but if one doesn't apply them to his busines or lacks the knowledge to implement it into their online businesses, then money was wasted regardless. It's all about applying these tools with your technique.
Is it adaptation?
We're merging into a whole new decade at the time of this blog being created (The 2020's) so new technology changes how we communicate among the board and online each and every year. What may have worked a decade ago might not work today. What may have been an effective marketing technique on social media in 2017, won't work in 2024, and so on. I'd say that adaptation to new marketing methods that you aren't too savvy about could be your personal challenge moving forward in the 2020's. Even if you'd master one skill that took you years in one decade to finally apply to your strategy now, could easily be old and outdated in another year. Sometimes, it might not work as effectively as it once did. Awlays be a student, never stop learning. It's okay to try new things that currently work now if it means your business online could thrive because of it. Wealthy Affiliate host thousands of people who can teach you what works right now, their part of your ocmmunity, just ask and someone can and will be willing to help you.
But remember: The hard part is getting started
What I learned with Wealthy Affiliate is that even when you're learning a new skill to earn money online that you don't have to do it alone. And even when that method is a decade old, there's always someone who can teach you newer more up to date technique that's currently working. It's just up to us to put in the work to make those things a reality.
Work hard until you figured out how to work smart.

Keeping relevant content constantly coming to your sites will be another challenging part! I'll be taking that challenge at long last pretty soon.
Sometimes I wish to hire a writer or virtual assistant who specializes in writing content on my behalf lol
That is something worth exploring as well, but it's difficult sometimes because I've heard of members having to go right behind and make corrections. Reminds me of when I employed another locksmith in my business to free up my time! It cost me a fortune, and I always had to go right behind him and "clean up a mess". The old mantra "If you want something done right--do it Yourself" comes to mind in this scenario! My two cents!

Great post. Every part will prove its difficulties along the way but it has a lot to do with adaptation. Why?
Principles stay the same but tactics and strategies are always changing. What worked years ago doesn't always work today. Factor in the saturation(supersaturation) of the affiliate marketing field of certain markets with the continuous organic reach in the Google algorithms, YouTube reach, Instagram, Facebook and so forth...
We have to adapt to it, unfortunately. That will push many people outside their comfort zones, more so now than ever in a time, especially those trying to do this full-time. Like I've said before...
You need a creative angle, just ONE to set you on fire, and double down. Collaborations, networking, and relationships are most important now than just relying on search engines for it all.
