Hi, WA family!

I am on the last lesson in Course 2, so I'm here to share my progress with you all up to this point :)

Since joining Wealthy Affiliate on June 3, I have...

• Found a niche that I'm passionate about (cruelty-free makeup!)
• Upgraded to a Premium account
• Created my website, http://cosmeticallyconscious.com/
• Progressed through two courses on WA
• Created several blog posts using keywords, with plenty more content in the works
• Connected with many of you on Google + (But not all of you! Here's my account: https://plus.google.com/u/0/114418012499379800796)
• Done a lot of research into my niche, and made a plan for future research
• Showed my website to my family :)

I haven't had any "financial success" yet, but I'm proud of several things I've accomplished. One, I created a blog that I think looks really pretty (and that I've taken many of my own pictures for).

Two, I worked through some frustrating problems with my website, in large part because of all of you! When I couldn't figure something out based on Kyle's videos, I turned to you with my questions. Thank you for that.

Three, I persevered even when I lost motivation. I took about 3 weeks off at one point to spend time with my family, and by the end of those three weeks, I very seriously considered just walking away. I do my best work when I'm motivated, and after taking a long break like that, I just didn't wanna think about it anymore. I thought things like, "I probably won't even be successful anyway. Why waste so much time in something that may not even work?" But when I thought about the blog I'd created and how much it meant to me, I decided that I'd keep going even if I never made any money off of it. After making that decision, the strangest thing happened - I was suddenly motivated again. Crazy, right?

My plans for the next three months include making my first sale, continuing to create high-quality content, building a reader base, and researching more within my niche.
