Reflections on what I've learned so far
Even though things are still in the infancy stages, I'm really enjoying the lessons from Kyle (and other WA users) and have learned a lot about creating quality content, which will hopefully soon attract traffic. So far I've learned:
- how to search for low competition keywords and use them in my posts
- keeping paragraphs short and simple, and using headings
- make your headings attractive (like a newspaper) and use a conversational style of writing
- using images, and also where to source them without worrying about copyright!
- being consistent in posting stuff (coz Google likes that), so setting aside one day in the week to post new content
As I write this blog post, I'm currently up to lesson 7 on Course 2. So the five keywords I've decided to target for future posts are:
- Easy ways to understand grammar
- Motivational dynamics in language learning
- Best ways to learn German
- Best ways to learn French
- Best ways to learn Mandarin
I've decided to start with language I'm reasonably familiar with, and as I learn more languages and figure out ways, I hope to add a few more languages.
