$19 Is Too Much, Really?

If people get freaked out about having to pay the $19 special to see what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer for the first month, I think that's insane. Maybe it's just me and I've been exposed to too many online biz opp.

Have You Seen Them?

Have you seen the programs and business opportunities that gets thrown around out there, and how much they're asking for? If you haven't, then good for you. You might end up falling for that shiny object and lose way more than $19. I'll even bet you $19 that you'll lose more than $19 for falling for those programs.

Examples

Cyclers/Matrices is a program you put money in and wait to get a high return. You put in $50 and wait for your turn to cycle or complete the matrix to earn $400. Yes, these type of programs due exist. Yes, you're right again, it is a Ponzi.

Revenue Sharing programs, some of them start at $1 all the way to $50. They claim to be advertisement programs, you put in a dollar so you can advertise and earn some money at the same time.

Some will give you a 120% return on the dollar you spend, this money is coming from the profit the business is making. So you get $1.20, WooHoo! You just made $0.20, so as you realize a dollar won't get you anywhere, you put in more money.

As the program gets older and you've invested a lot more than you wanted to, the program slows down until it stops (new money stops coming in). In some very sad cases, the owner runs away with everyone's money.

People join these programs because of the very little work they have to put in to earn money, I don't even call it work, you just click Ads. Majority of these guys don't even last over 3 months.

This is just to name a couple, I wasn't planning on filling up this whole page with all the crap out there. Majority of them have similar structures, just different names, and people fall for them all the time.

One more thing, those prices are just for one position, so if people want to earn more money, they just get more. So if someone joined a cycler and wanted to double the return, they just get 2 $50 positions.

Some people will want more, so if they want 10, that's $500 hoping to get $4000 in return. Yes, that's happened before and in some cases, some people lost more money than that.

Value

The biggest thing I always look for when I join or pay anything, is the value the company has to offer. Do I need to list the unbelievable value you get here in WA? You know it's gonna be a long list right?

Let's keep it simple and short why I decided to join my first day. I was new to all this online stuff, I had no idea what Affiliate Marketing, Internet Marketing, or Network Marketing was.

I was clueless, and to throw in the mix of creating a website, really? I'm not even exaggerating here, this is really how I was in the beginning. No direction, no guidance and had no idea where to start.

Wealthy Affiliate was the perfect fit for me. As soon as I joined and asked for help or any advice, I was able to get it. That's when I started believing in myself that I could actually do it. The fear of not knowing where, or how to start went away when I joined WA.

So Is $19 Too Much?

That's really up to you on how much you want to invest in your future. How much is your future worth to you? All I know is opening a traditional business is way, I mean way more than this. $19 is not even enough to get a high quality business card.

My brother makes amazing hand crafted jewelry and that's his part time business. He's been doing it for 10 years and still not able to quit his full time job. Not to mention all the money he spent along the way of building his business.

Oh yeah, he also paid someone to build his website, and the cost was more than what WA is offering for yearly.
