Branding - spending my time editing

Hey there,

When I created my non WA blog I was advised to think carefully about the colours for my site, the logo I'd use and the images I'd add to posts. How these would affect (create?) my brand.

Brand?

That was only something for the Big Guys. Right? Did me and my little blog really need to worry about a brand?

Oh, yeah!

After all, what's the first thing you think of when you hear the word "brand"?

For me, it's McDonalds.

And those golden arches, flashing in NEON.

What about you...what comes to mind? Nike, Coca-Cola, Pepsi....perhaps?

Not much more to say, folks. If it's good enough for the big guys, then it's good enough for us. To quote one famous brand: Just Do It!

As for my blog? The colours and logo are sorted. Right now I'm working on editing the images in my posts. Aiming to create a cohesive look and feel...developing my brand. The content may be low right now but I think it's more important to get things right. Will save a ton of work coming back to fix things later.
