My Journey Begins
As I write this, I feel like I've just emerged from the chaotic crucible of life and can finally take clear steps towards an obvious goal. Growing up, I always had the habit of writing my thoughts and realizations on loose papers and then showing the people close to me. Sadly, they never had the enthusiasm of reading as I had in writing and sharing so it was always a disappointing moment. Perhaps I was looking for approval in some way but not getting it. However, I never stopped writing because it came from an unknown impulse within me, the motivation never went away.
Problem is, those thoughts and realizations never went beyond loose papers and I also never realized the different ways that I could share them. When I came to Wealthy Affiliate, I was looking for an alternative source of income, a way to make money online. Going through the training course where I had to choose a niche, I chose real estate. Kyle commented that I should be more specific on the choice of a niche, so instead of committing to one, I just kept going through the training until I reached the stage where Kyle emphasized the importance of content. This is where everything changed.
"You have to write quality content". As I heard that, next to me were 3 pages I had written not so long ago about motivation, and I thought "this is it, this is what I should be doing". This lead me to create goalauthority.com, a website where I aim to share my experience, strategies, and tips on how others can escape the chaotic crucible of life that I've just left behind me.
I'm still not sure of how I'll be making money from this, but whatever lies ahead, I'm happy that I'm in love with what I am doing. I have discovered my passion.
