Rating Products With Stars
So it came to mind that a lot of the best reviewing affiliate niche sites use stars rating icons on the products or services they are reviewing.
I think it's a really smart idea to visually attract your visitors to encourage clicks on your links, especially if they are doing a quick scroll of your page. I know the actually content within the reviews are the most important thing for seo, etc...but I feel this gives you more authority and also gives people a bit more encouragement to find out more. (clicking on links)
I would be interested to know if anyone has used star rating icons and seen an increase in clicks/sales on your product/service review pages?
Today I have updated all my review articles on my website to have personal ratings out of 5 stars. I will maybe do a follow up post soon to see if there is any difference.

I know my eyes are drawn to the star rating when I do a search. It is just natural for the eyes to notice gold stars on a white background with black text. I plan on using stars on all my reviews.

I know! I might create a piece of content to show what each of my stars represent e.g.
1 - poor
2 - okay
3 - good
4 - very good
5 - excellent
Something like that! That's how I'm rating product personally! lol
