Feeling Guilty

I have been feeling so guilty because Joe and I have not been working on our site very much lately. Joe works nights. He usually comes home and stays up for a couple of hours and we discuss what needs to be done on the site and who is going to do. We had a nice schedule written down and we stuck to it for a while.

Lately though I have been having some new health issues. Which means extra doctors appointments. So instead of coming home, Joe has been going to see the specialists with me. He is so exhausted from working with very little sleep. And I am exhausted from pain and depression. We both have been letting the site just sit there.

I'm really not in the mood to try to get any work done. I don't even know where to start. There is so much that needs to get done. But I am here and I am going to try. I need to get my mind off of my MRI that is scheduled for tomorrow evening.....

I think maybe I will read some more of everyone's uplifting posts. Thanks for letting me vent.

There's no time limit on getting everything done! Take care of yourself, don't be bothered by self-imposed time frames, get better first. This will be here when you are ready to come back. That's all the ultimately matters.

It sounds like you guys have a lot going on at the moment. And we have all experienced this at one point. Fortunately you are the boss of your site. It's not like a job where you have someone breathing down your neck. You can work on this when you feel up to it. What I recommend is that when you do have the time of feel very energized you should write multiple articles for your site. But don't publish them all at once. Publish one article a given week. And save the others for another week. So even when you don't feel up to doing anything or can't you still have content to publish and you maintain the consistency that Google looks for.

So don't worry. We all go through this. Just don't give up.

Thanks, Eddy! We are in no way giving up.... We enjoy Wealthy Affiliate and our site way too much to give up now! We are just trying to figure out how to balance everything out again. It might take a while but we WILL get there!
