My Struggle with Imperfection
I've always been a dreamer. As a kid, I would listen to music and look out the window with vivid images of the greatness I would achieve in life. As an adult... well, I still do the same thing, but I have the means and drive to try to turn those dreams into reality. Unfortunately, I've found that I have bounced from idea to idea, with nothing panning out, and me back at the drawing board. As it turns out, business is hard, and often times not the prettiest, most romantic thing I had imagined while looking out the window. Every time I would encounter a major obstacle, I lost the motivation to continue, turned off the high probability of mediocrity. I just couldn't embrace doing something that was imperfect, and yet it's always led me back to Square 1.
A Chance to Succeed
As it turns out, success almost always comes out of hardship, driven by passion and determination. And as glamorous as that sounds, it's often filled with many hours of being mediocre, imperfect. That's because new ventures, new businesses, and new skills, take time to hone and develop. When you're stepping into to something new, you're going to make mistakes. You're going to make decisions that aren't ideal simply for the purpose of moving the ball forward. That's what happened with me at Wealthy Affiliate. Early excitement turned to me googling the "BEST wordpress host" and "Best wordpress theme". What happened was a week of me struggling to put together a perfect site with the perfect theme on the perfect host, and I wound up feeling frustrated and ending back up at the drawing board. I decided instead to embrace imperfection, pick a website theme that may not be perfect, and join the Premium membership of Wealthy Affiliate so that I can join a community that simply helps move the ball forward. And ultimately, I think that will lead to success. I would like to encourage others out there to choose to be imperfect so that you can also move the ball forward, and take one, imperfect step towards success.

This is great advice JT! You're right that we start off imperfect. You want to say you're making millions overnight, but....hahahaha....most people just can't start out saying that. I'm so glad you decided to join the WA family, and I'm hoping things really start to take off for you.
The dream you've always had can start to build brick by brick and step by step. You're doing great! Let me know if you need a hand with the website, but I have a feeling the training will answer all your questions and get you set up just fine.
