First 30 days at Wealthy Affiliate Progress Report!

30 Days with Wealthy Affiliate!

So, yesterday, 10/11/2015, was the official end to my first 30 days with WA as a Premium Member. What a wild ride! Firstly, I’d just like to say that the best part of the last month was getting to know all of you at WA through Live Chat, Private Messaging, your blogs, your comments on my blogs, and comments and feedback on my websites. Since I use the comment/feedback request tool, I was able to give many of you comments and feedback on your websites as well. Although sometimes people have their differences in Live Chat given the rules and that tone cannot be read through text, overall everyone is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and well on their way to success, if not already there! I am so happy Steve (IveTriedThat) introduced me to this company!

Now with that said, I’m all about organizing and statistics and planning, so, here’s what’s happened in the last 30 days by the numbers:

Wealthy Affiliate:

1 free referral, set up his profile:$1 earned

Surf Exchange and Organic Traffic Directed to Wealthy Affiliate: 300 hits on average per day

Two websites complete and listed as having “awesome” site health. JillianSorenson.com has over 115 comments on it! LearnMysteryShopping.com is doing nicely as well.

“Make Money with Website Design” written (4,000+ words in less than 24 hours), published on Amazon for 99 cents and free on Smashwords. Amazon refused to price match. Smashwords:58 free downloads in 5 days. I was also running an Amazon freebie promotion on my three other books here are the states from that:“Bon Voyage:Your Comprehensive Guide to Retiring Overseas”:20 free copies in five days, “How to Make Money Online:The Best Work From Home Jobs”:52 free copies given away, and “Make it Happen:Prioritizing Your Life and Work for Ultimate Productivity”:36 free copies given away.

Facebook:

Facebook Business Page Set-Up:Jillian Sorenson’s Professional Writing Services:37 likes, 2,159 people reached with my YouTube video post, 267 people reached so far with my podcast post (both “boosted” posts – paid $20 each), and 2 clicks on the “Book Now” Button.

YouTube: 5 videos:3 subscribers (all friends of mine), Intro to Website Design:38 Views, Make Money with Website Design Lesson 1: 25 views, Lesson 2 and 3:7 views, Lesson 4:8 views. Looks like a third of people are sticking it out until the final video. The whole playlist is about 45 minutes long. No earnings yet from monetization, videos have been up about a week.

Google AdSense:LearnMysteryShopping.com:151 visits, JillianSorenson.com:104 visits.Total Adsense revenue:$2.51.

Podcasts:Make Money with Website Design: Part 1:6 listens and 2 likes. It will be monetized, but it takes 3 weeks to distribute I guess, so for now it’s free. Uploaded 10/11/2015. I’ve recorded two more episodes, the third being me interviewing a fantasy author friend of mine. Looking for guests if anyone would like to be on my podcast!

Twitter:At the beginning of the Wealthy Affiliate adventure, I had 300 some-odd followers. As of 5:22 AM on 10/12/2015, I now have an even 2,000 followers! 600 just today, I think because of the massive amount of tweeting I did. Already this morning I've done 10 re-tweets before 6 AM! I'd like to get to 10K followers in the next 30 days.

So, at the end of 30 days, I have earned $3.51! I think that’s pretty awesome. J In my next 30 days, I’d like to earn 1,000 times that, but we’ll see what happens.

I had an extremely productive day today, here’s everything I did:

• 2)Get approved to join 112 Facebook groups.
• 3)Surfed traffic exchanges, sent 350 hits to WA and 350 hits to another affiliate program.
• 4)Clicked on 1,000+ PTC e-mails.
• 5)70+ Tweets.
• 6)Played social networking on hi5.com.
• 7)Hang out in WA Live Chat.
• 8)E-mail possible podcast guest.
• 9)Check e-mail/reply to comments.
• 10)Test affiliate programs.
• 11)25+ Amazon product reviews.

Personal Task Accomplished

• 1)Washed dishes.
• 2)Watch Skillshare videos.
• 3)Read 1+ hours.
• 4)Recreational activity – 1.5 hours watching “The Martian.”
• Today was a 13 hour work day for me, in a 60 hour total work week.
• I have heard that the rinse and repeat “formula” for making money with website design is 10 websites earning $500 each. I think I can do that in my first 90 days as I have two that are up and making money already. To our success!
