Daily Action Plan

As I'm sure you noticed from my last post, I plan a lot. I'm not at the planning every hour of my day stage, but certainly every activity. I use Google Calendar on my phone. I thought I'd share with you what my day typically looks like. Last week I spent 58.5 hours on my business, and that does not include my regular 10 hours of work as an online tutor. (I use the free RescueTime app to track this and my productivity while online.) I would say that's a pretty typical week for me, close to 60 hours on business. I guess if I was getting paid for those hours at my $15/hour rate I should be making $900 per week, but sadly, I am not....yet! So, with that said, here is my business and personal Daily Action Plans:
Daily Action Plan
- 1)Purchase one domain name.
- 2)Check e-mail and reply to comments.
- 3)Surf traffic exchanges.
- 4)Write 2 blog posts.
- 5)Write WA blog post.
- 6)Hang out in WA Live Chat and help people.
- 7)Record one YouTube video (based off of a blog post).
- 8)Test affiliate programs.
- 9)Join 5 Facebook groups or niche-related forums.
- 10)Post 5 comments in groups or forums.
- 11)Tweet (following Twitter strategy) 15 – 20 tweets.
- 12)Update Social Media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, GooglePlus, YouTube).
- 13)Unfollow non-followers, follow new people on Twitter.
- 14)Add people on other social media accounts.
- 15)Apply to be a guest blogger on high authority websites.
- 16)Try to get 5 backlinks with one being high authority.
- 17)Find a new guest for a future podcast.
- 18)If time available, 10+ Amazon reviews (trying to qualify for the Vine program).
Personal Daily Action Plan
- 1)Read 1+ Hours
- 2)Exercise 30+ minutes (walk, run, fitness video).
- 3)Watch business videos on Udemy or Skillshare.
- 4)Recreational activity 1 hour (knitting, crafting, bowling, cooking, drawing, watching TV)
- Now this, obviously, would be an ideal day. I will say I almost always do all of my personal action plan. For the daily business action plan, I usually fall down in updating social media, guest posting, and joining groups/forums and posting in them. But I'm working on my shortcomings. Feel free to use my list as inspiration for your own action plan!
