Slow and steady
Another post out! However, I haven't see any traffic to my site under than myself and my friends and family. This maybe because I am having issues finding key words that work with "(Game Title) Review". I have been mixing it up a bit but nothing yet. I am also moving at a snail's pace. Working 60+ hours a week at my day job makes it very difficult to commit time to writing blogs/reviews. I am also needing to work on my social media presence. I assume that will make a pretty big difference to viewer ship on the site. I do wonder if I am wasting my time because I am not able to put out enough content fast enough. I see many people post a post each day or multiple posts a week but I just don't see how I can possibly do that. Please let me know your thoughts.

One step at a time. There is no rush, no competition. I feel that it can be frustrating, but I still don't get traffic on my website. I have created a Facebook page for my website and people don't even click the links to read the article....so keep building your site whenever you have time for it and success will find it's way. Good luck!
That is the hardest part. You spend all that time researching and writing your post just to see it sit there... I haven't even bothered with Affiliate links or AdSense yet because I don't have the traffic to bother with it yet.
I have started including affiliate links in my second post. I try to write post where I don't put my lins directly. I refer to my reviews instead. So It doesn't matter if you have traffic or not. Assume you do and build from there. Best wishes!
The "loads of patience" is that hard part. I am part of that, "I want it now" culture, however, I know it and I am trying to fix it.
We all go at our own pace, my friend. I assume you have joined WA to build a better future, don't give up. That future will be brighter if only you persevere. Do what you can with the limited time you have. It may take you longer than others who have more time to devote now but we are not in competition with each other. We are here to help, offer emotional support when it's needed, be your cheerleader when you need one. Some of us have partnered with our spouses so we are not the only ones creating content. Others have hired writers. We each do what we can with the resources we have. We will get there when we get there. The internet isn't going anywhere. My advice is to stay the course and try to something every day or at least every week to build your future. Best of luck.
