First Thoughts after going Premium

So I finally did it and upgraded to Premium. I am excited though somewhere deep down I am still uncertain if it has been the right decision. As probably most of us newbies are ... In my case, the uncertainty is mainly because I am living in Germany, plan to do my business here, and don't know if WA is as helpful in my case as it probably is in the English-speaking world. But as I am not a native speaker of English, I guess I shouldn't write blogs in English. Since a blog is all about words, I wouldn't want to run the risk of coming across as untrustworthy or "stumbling" through my blog posts. I wouldn't think that many people would be interested in my writing then ... Problem is, I haven't found a site similar to WA in German, so I am hoping I can just transfer what I learn here to a business based in Germany ;-)

I have to admit that for the time being, I feel quite overwhelmed with the amount of information on this site. I am doing the "Get started" lessons and I read the mails and messages from Kyle and Carson and check out the videos and classes and whatever it is they keep announcing, but after a while it feels that there are only clouds left where I used to have a brain ... But I enjoy learning and I guess I have to remind myself to start at the beginning and then go step by step. Probably most things will become clear as I go.

All in all I am happy that I made the decision and the days of struggling with Premium membership are over. This feels like a big commitment that I made to myself and my future. As long as you are "Starter" only, it keeps being something that "could be a great idea to do" and "maybe should be done one of these days". But some time back I promised myself that I would stop writing and maintaining my list of "what I should do one day" and just do it instead. So here I am!

Looking forward to meeting many interesting people.

PS: I really have to learn a lot. I don't even know what "tags" really are (those that I am supposed to add here ;-))
And I even don't know how to post this now ...

Hey.
Another German! Wunderbar! ;)
I am from Germany, too. Blogging in English can be a bit difficult from time to time but you just wrote this long text. I think you'll be fine.

You definitely can use the knowledge you gain here to make a site in German.
Only problem would be to get comments from the community as there are not that many Germans here.

Cheers

Moritz

Hi Moritz!
Great to see another German on this site. Writing in English shouldn't be one of the biggest problems as I studied in the US and lived there for several years. Another couple of years in Malaysia, where I also used English most of the time. But still I think a native speaker would certainly see the difference. I might try it anyways ...

As for the comments: since you are there, YOU at least could provide feedback ;-)). And once I'm a pro, I will do the same for you ;-)

Thanks for your message and have a great day,

Julia

Welcome to premium Julia and if you get stuck just ask questions. :)
