A Favor to Ask of My WA Friends!
This will be another short post, because as we did regain power at 4 am, it decided to go out again about an hour ago.
I need some help from my friends here at Wealthy Affiliate. I joined an affiliate program for pet insurance and wrote an article on the company. I have a few links in the article that on my end clearly lead to the company pages.
Here' s the issue. The company Affiliate marketing person has informed me that when she clicks on the links it takes her somewhere completely different.
I cleared my cache and resent her the article but she still says it not working on her end and will not authorize commissions, if the issue isn't resolved.
Here is the favor I ask of you. Would you read the article, click on the blue linked content and even images and let me know if the links take you to the company website?This would be a great help to me.
Let me know what you find. Much appreciated. I'll check back later when I can recharge my phone.

Clicking on that link works in getting you to her site, but the links within the article only take you to the bottom of the page, not to the company's website like they should.

I saw an issue with the "lovearescuedog.com link. When I clicked it, I was taken to this page:

I have found the following links in your post, that when entered directly all work, however, clicking them on your website just takes you to the bottom of your post. This is the same for all links on your page, not just the four below.

It is an issue with your website, not with the affiliate partner. Any news from SiteSupport?

Personally I don’t agree with the response as the same issue was also happening with your Chewy banner and the PetPlan banner etc. Which would make it an issue with your website or the browser. I tried in Chrome. I wonder if other members could do the test with Chrome and also other browsers?

Why is it when I click on them, they take me where they are supposed to go? Is there something I'm not understanding? I am using all code from the affiliate sites.
Could you do me a favor and check this out on my MMO site? I want to know if the same thing is happening there too.

I have just tested your MMO site and all of the links I tried appear to work ok
Just tried the dog site again but the page linked to above now says 404 Error, so I tried a few more pages including the Home Page, but when I click on any of the "Read More" buttons it takes me to the bottom of your website.
I took that Pumpkin article down. The company rep asked me to. That's why you got the 404 Error. But I don't understand what happened to the rest of the site.
Let's see what site support comes up with.
As long as my mmo site is working correctly, I'm glad.
I've just tried your website in IE (Internet Explorer) and it doesn't load, only the spinner in the middle of the page. Then tried it in Edge and it loaded, but exactly the same issue as with Chrome, that when I click on the Read More buttons on your home page it jumps to the bottom of the page and a search box appears. Didn't notice the search box before as it's small, but the same thing happens on Chrome. Tried it on my mobile (iPhone) using Safari and the Read More buttons work ok.
I don't know what's going on.
Could it be the theme?

It actually turned out to be the theme.
Glad you got it sorted :-) But as it was a paid for theme, I would contact the developers and ask them to look into the issue and resolve it for you. Failing that, they can give you a refund instead :-)
