Baby steps to a long jump
Well I did it...I got through lesson 4 and created my first website and then it hit me, "if I am going to do this and put in 100% effort to create this business then wouldn't the most logical first step be taking advantage of the discount?". The answer is YES you should take advantage of the discount because any good and successful business owner should think about costs of investing in the growth of their business. It is an easy decision to make if you are fully committed to achieving success so why wait till lesson 5?
My path to this conversation is a long and difficult one full of many sleepless nights asking myself the same question over and over again, "What do I do now?". You see a few years ago I had a career and I was both happy and successful but then life stepped in and decided that my time was done and my life's path was going to have to change direction and it wasn't up to me. So after a major surgery and a few years of recovery I made the choice that I had a few good years left in me (20+ to be exact) and I need to write my own life's path and make it something that I wanted to do. Sounds great but have you ever stopped and thought "if everything in my life/career ended right at this moment and not by choice I would do _______." Cowboy? Fireman? Batman? Princess? all great things when you are young and have zero responsibility but at 38 it is a completely different question...
So after a few different 9-5 jobs working with people the age of my children constantly complaining about how much life hates them and management that doesn't care and all this for minimum wage I put the brakes on this path and went searching for something better, something with a future that I could write. I tried a few online jobs and investing but had very little success other then learning that online education is very costly. I came across a YouTube ad that got my attention and led to a lot of research into digital marketing and of course the wasting of $99 and several hours of time on a webinar that just led to more costs and wasted time I found Wealthy Affiliates in a blog. This really is a one stop shop and worth the premium especially if you go out and add up the costs for a domain, hosting, email responder, leads, keyword searching and so on, these all add up to a very expensive start-up so a free get you going deal is well worth it.
Long story short I am a premium member and on a life path that I am writing and cannot wait to see where this journey takes me...
