I'm so frustrated. When my webpage comes up it is all of my blog articles which is fine. But when I go to an article how do i create a button to get back to that page? I'm not
You first need to create a menu in appearance > menus; then, you can add a custom link and call it the homepage with your main URL as the destination.
Make sure you save your changes so that the button shows up.
Thanks!
So I made a home page but was going to have to add content to it. When really I just want the main landing page thats already there to be the 'home' page. So are you saying I will have to create a new home page and put it in the menu with my about us and privacy policy page?
Your homepage, in this instance, is, for example, https://[domain].com
Please be aware that visitors may land on your website on any post or page vs. your homepage.
If you are after a landing page, you may want to create one and then you can choose it in settings > reading
And if that, you would have an empty BLOG page to include your posts.
However, I believe and for raking purpose is to leave your website as it is by default to your latest posts.

When you add a custom home link to your navigation, it will automatically be there on every page or post, precisely as the first comment. Creating Custom Menus & Navigation

Hey Frank! I am watching this in just a minute! Thank you so much. I have seen this static page toggle a fewtimes now so at least I have an idea of what this is!
I learned how to do a button by watching a helpful WordPress video. Rather than explaining in words. The video is straightforward -here is the link in on how to do that in the Block Editor.
