Stepping Out Of My Box
Okay, deep breath and here I go. I'm not a real social person and even putting a web site out there is taking me out of my comfort zone but about a week ago I started a site with my cousin where we post about different Bible topics. http://whatsthebiblesayaboutthat.com/
I have fallen behind on my courses here on WA due to playing around with plugins and just trying to get used to the WP layout. the majoriy of the web design I have done in the past has been WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get) So this is all new to me. After spending some time with the site I have decided to do a personal blog site as well that would help me to kind of step out of my box a little more and would also help me to keep track of my learning experiences in other areas as well as with WA. http://edwardsoutofthebox.com/

I think that doing the personal blog is a great idea. I love your other site as well. It needs to be a rolling blog for the Bible topics, in my opinion. That's the only thing that I would change.
You can show the whole blog or just an excerpt. Not sure how your theme is set up so it would be hard for me to explain. I'm not that savvy with wordpress myself.

I really like the WYSIWYG and I'm still learning the WP but from what I can tell there is so much potential with it but a long with that come a lot of technical aspects that I didn't have to deal with before. Which is fine because I love learning new things and I am definitely looking forward to learning more with WP and have already started working on learning some php along with it
Hi. Guess what? There is no such thing as falling behind around here. You go at your own pace and don't worry about keeping up with anyone else.
I just went to your site on the Bible and I really like the color scheme and look of it. I think your material sounds very good, you just need to really start writing. It needs content. :)

Thanks Michelle, was falling behind where I wanted to be. I have been working on setting some goals and trying to follow through with them. I love the fact that with WA I am able to work and learn at my own pace I just know that with out the goals I'll fall flat.
Just keep doing what works for you. You'll get there, and it is a great idea to have goals in mind. Wish you the best! Michelle

Way to go JP. ....your site looks great and your personal touch will always connect you with likeminded friends and readers. Nothing worth having is ever easy...we must all step outside of the box to grow to our full potential. I applaud your confidence and belief in God....those two things will always keep you strong and safe outside of the box!
