Show Me The Money Joy

Hey folks,

So since I joined Wealthy Affiliate just over 3 months ago, I have gotten a lot done:

• built 2 websites
• written 75 WA blog pots
• gained almost 5,000 followers on WA
• achieved ambassadorship
• earned almost $2000 (mainly from coaching, though I did get one free member referral fee, will get paid a tiny amount for creating a training on WA, built a single page website for a past client, and sold a domain name)

The one thing to know about my earnings since I joined Wealthy Affiliate is this; in July, the month before I joined WA, I earned just under $5000 from my coaching practice. The drop in income is not at all because of Wealthy Affiliate. I 100% switched focuses, shut down my blog, which was established in 2010 and had a huge readership and I don't even currently have a coaching website.

I knew my income would drop and I also trusted myself to re-focus, re-brand and not only get my income back but also double my earnings (this was my original goal for joining WA). With all of my interests and passions, narrowing my coaching focus down to one small niche has been a daunting task (I had a very narrow niche previously which I found limiting). With this in mind, I am going against everything I have learned through WA and from the countless additional marketing, business and entrepreneur gurus I have learned from over the years.

I am not going to narrow my niche, I am going to take what I have learned over 10 years of coaching (life, relationship and small business startup) and put it into one blog. I am then going to build a sales funnel with an optin landing page to promote the services associated with my main blog. I plan to also build up my social network which I have to 100% re-focus (Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Flikr, Pinterest, Facebook, etc.).

I did some brainstorming this afternoon as recommended by ViralTNTeam. The funny thing is that I brainstorm in style, so I had purchased my brainstorm and vision board supplies weeks ago but didn't pull them out until this afternoon. I asked Viral a complex question about finding direction and focus. His answer was just what I needed. It is funny how we often times know what we need to do, but it takes someone else reinforcing it to make us do it!

So I am starting a 90-Day Challenge for myself, which Viral is also doing for himself. Other than writing on WA, reading the posts in the 7 Day Post Challenge and publishing one post on LaptopDiva and BackyardBrood per week, developing this website and the connected business will be my only entrepreneurial focus. No more distractions. I am ready to re-build and re-brand my business and turn my passion for helping others into profit.
