The Dire Consequences Of Inaction
Inaction in the desired direction can mostly result into dire consequences. Take the idea of inaction in a fast moving train where sustainable energy continues to supply its propulsion engines to move forward...take away that action or energy and the massive locomotive slows down, grinds to a halt. Switch off the engine and it is a dead train.
The Sweet Moments Of Inaction
But then we also know the sweet moments of inaction. Drop everything, relax, smell the roses, worry not, no pressure, just do what you feel you want to do. It is indeed sweet and rewarding. Life passes only this once. Spend all our lives straining and we get stretched thin...very thin....But stretch, relax, stretch some more and relax...balance seems to be more normal. Stretching way too much, we could actually snap into two pieces like a piece of rubber band.
Control Over Things Under Our Power And PLACE To Control
Life gets messy when control is applied in the wrong places. Control of money, control of data, control of material flow, control of everything including people. They could get very messy. But show me an organization, nation or groups of people that do not use proper control of things and I will show you a world that is very messy indeed!
Having spent 20 some odd years in the Navy, having had time to serve in a 6000-man Aircraft Carrier with thousands of systems to maintain and operate, control had to exist and be exercised in order for organizations and teams to thrive, excel and survive!
Out Of Place Exercise of Control Is Destructive
One very big example of this type of control is dictatorships in countries. Dictatorships are created by bad opportunities when power is at the hands of evil leaderships around the world and bad turns of events place these bad leaders at the top of the helm of control.
The same principle rolls downhill to the smallest of groups concerning control in the wrong places.
Proper Control And Great Leadership
World War II showed the world two different kinds of control and leadership. They were the evil and righteous leaders. Thank God for the victory headed by the righteous leaders of the world. You and I would never have the kind of freedom that we enjoy in the free world today had it not been for these great and righteous nations led by righteous leaders who applied the kind of control to bring down evil and allow freedom to be exercised.
The Ultimate Control Resulting In Great Order
One of the most undeniable show of control resulting in great order: our little place in the universe, the Earth orbiting the sun for 4.5 billion years. Our orbit does not get us way too far from the Sun otherwise we freeze and it does not get us too close otherwise we fry. For that mysterious 'control' to exist all these billions of years so that we only not live comfortably but we also thrive in comfort is truly a gift from the source of this extremely effective and righteous means of control.
Effective Leadership, Righteous Authority And Proper Exercise of Control
It took minds and hearts of righteous folks to have crafted the American Constitution so that its end results, America, the FREE, America the powerful and yet America that is very fair and good to its citizens and neighbors around the world exists today.
Proper execution and exercise of the law of the land resulted in the most incredible results of a nation called America. I remember reading my first Western novels that were also my father's favorites and read about the earliest sheriffs and their deputies who exercised the law and chased down lawbreakers crossing hills, spending months on the trail to bring the outlaws to justice. What catalysts were in place to have such men devote so much of their lives into such an unrewarding profession? What power keeps the Earth orbiting around the sun so that we get the almost-perfect temperature for us Earthlings for millions of years?
These Laws Manmade Or Natural Are There To Keep Us ALL In Line So That The Great Order Of Things Continue To Benefit US All
So, President of the United States or not, King of a nation or not, powerful or not...we are all tasked with obedience and observance of these laws of order. We cross these laws and we suffer the rightful consequence.
Exercise of Authority Is A Huge Responsibility
Exercising any kind of an authority is not always a right however. It is a privilege for the most part. So let us use this privilege very smartly and with INTEGRITY!
