Progress Post
Hi Everyone,
My name is Joseph. I’m a full-time HS Teacher. I joined WA last month and have been going through the training. One of today’s tasks is to create a blog post within WA and talk about my experience so far.
After much thought I chose gut health as my niche after joining WA. Approx. 70 million Americans struggle with digestive issues, including myself. I also teach Biology, so the topic made sense.
My website, www.mystomachhealth.com, is coming along slowly but surely. I’ve learned that quality content is key in building a successful SEO-based website, and that has been the aim in the four articles I’ve published so far. The hope for my readers is that the information offered may empower them to live longer, healthier and happier lives.
For years I’ve been meaning to build a sustainable online business. Considering where I was two months ago...
I consider the following to be milestones:
1. Making a decision with respect to WA
2. Choosing a niche
3. Choosing and registering a domain name
4. Tackling the daunting task of building out a WordPress website
5. Composing and publishing each of the first four posts
Among other personal challenges are the following:
1. The nagging notion that I may have chosen the wrong niche and that all my time-consuming posts are for naught
2. Keyword research: I find this to be a unicorn in the woods. I though Jaaxy Lite had solved this issue for me, but I understand now that I may be much better off with Jaaxy Premium. Outside WA, some successful bloggers swear by certain paid keyword research tools while others put no stock in any of them.
3. Composing articles: It’s taking me a long time to write posts. I need to become much more efficient at it.
4. Going at it alone: I need to gain more confidence in the WA community and reach out for help.
Some of my goals are the following:
1. Complete the entire WA training ASAP (I’m now on Level 3)
2. Become a regular contributor as a WA member
3. Compose and publish 36 more posts by the end of October 2020 (avg. of 3 posts/week)
4. See first commissions by late December 2020
5. Replace f/t income by December 2021
Thank you for reading this post. I wish you good health and much success.

Hi Joseph,
You’ve made great progress in such a short period of time.
Your writing will get easier as you become more efficient at putting your articles together, it just takes time.
I always say that you know you have chosen the right niche if you are enjoying writing about it. Your passion (or lack of) will always show in your articles...I hope that helps.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to the community if you have any questions you want answered.
Regards
Ray
