Don't allow anyone steal your thunder
Hello everyone,
I have believed since starting with WA that this is an amazing platform which allows you to set high goals and shows you the path to achieving them. The foundation of this platform starts with training. This platform is also made hugely successful, I believe, because of the support received from the entire community.
We are asked to comment and review our fellow sites and to provide feedback. Most of the feedback received from WA members is generally very positive. There are times when some are not as positive nor supportive. However, I will urge you not to be discouraged as this is part of the learning process.
We generally cannot give to others what has not been given to us. Therefore, I tell you provide feedback in a positive, supportive, and encouraging manner. It is easy to point out negatives on others. It causes no discomfort to you, but what if this "negative" is addressed to you?
Keep in mind when providing feedback to others that your feedback should provide and encourage the person to improve, restructure, give more thought to the information you are challenging. Do not just say, I do not agree for the sake of disagreeing. Your feedback should elicit improvements.
I was taught growing up that one gets more in life with "sugar" than with "vinegar."
Great success!
Jorge

So very true. You can give honest Feedback in a very positive way. That's what I want. I don't want just flowery words. I want advice. I want those in the know to lead me in the right direction. But, exactly as you are saying, please say it kindly.
All the best,
Wendi
It's great to perform positive but it costs 2 credits to get feedback and you should suggest at least one improvement when leaving your feedback with others.
It feels nice when someone leaves feedback as "amazing site" but you can't really make improvements based on that kind of feedback.
IMO praise the good but find something to suggest improvement in a polite way to give valuable feedback to others
I agree with you Mark. It is great when anyone gives you compliments on your site and provides you with suggestions to improve. Thanks for the message.

There must be the "and". There should be compliments AND constructive criticism otherwise the bad won't be improved and the good might get discarded
Great advice Jorge. Sometimes I have trouble giving feedback. I try to not be too critical, but feel that I am at times. I will be happy to take your advice.

Dottie,
When the feedback comes with the intent to promote growth, it is always well received. We want honest feedback in order to improve the content and professional look of our pages. Thanks for the comment.

Hi Jorge,
Truth said. Even the harshest criticism can be done in a tone for a sincere desire to support someone's growth.
