Mid September Progress

I have not progressed through WA as much as I would have liked. I'm stressing about finding a job, doing school, doing WA, then I signed up for some HubSpot trainings on Social Media (btw, check out their free programs you can get certified in for your resume, or just for free information!), taking care of my 4 month old. Whew!

Progress is progress, though. I am thinking about selling makeup and skincare (like Mary Kay but better quality, more natural). The brand I'm looking at, I would be able to mention in my website since it's all about sustainability.

I need to get through some more training on WA so I have begun writing times to do tasks from my above list each day. One day a week I leave as my day to focus solely on WA. I want to try to get 2-3 posts written to have in my back pocket in case I get too busy. I realize how important consistency is and I have not been consistent. My first week and a half I wrote a post daily, then started doing less and less. Now I don't think I've written in a while. Ugh!

Things do seem to be coming together, I just feel exhausted ALL THE TIME. It's what happens to me when I get overwhelmed. But I don't want to take a step back, yet either. I know that continuing to work on my goals will get me to them faster.

I have to plan. And hopefully enlist the help of a friend to play with the baby so I can get things done. Talk to you soon!

Jordan,

I can say "hey Jordan don't let yourself get overwhelmed" but I also know people don't know what other people's lives are like so I'll say "hey Jordan try not to get overwhelmed and do take a step back once in a while". Not from work so much as to watch your baby grow.
Having two girls I know what it's like to want to hold them all the time when they are newborns and even as they get older. You never outgrow wanting to do that. (there will come a time when they don't want to held or even hold hands. They still love you and they're okay when you're at home but come on Dad you can't hold my hand in public while we're walking through a parking lot, I'm nine now)
I was always told you have to treasure every moment because even though she's a baby right now before you even know it she will be in college. Of course I thought yea right! But now my daughter, our first baby girl started college last month and the younger daughter is in high school. It really seems to happen just as fast as they say. 19 years. Poof!!
After typing and rambling and trying to say something profound, I guess I'm saying you should want to be with your baby as much as possible and you already know that working from home will make that goal a reality. Make a checklist every day. Even if it's the night before. If you follow a checklist whether for a day, a week or however long you want it to be, it works and you feel good about it going through your day and checking your tasks off that list.
Don't worry Jordan. You've got this!

Thank you! You definitely made me cry as I realize how true this is. Even these 4 months have flown by and I know it will go by quicker and quicker every year. Thank you thank you!

You're welcome and sorry. I did not mean to make you cry.

It all takes time Jordan. Stay focused and remain determined. Each step you take brings you one step closer to success. Jim

You’re doing fantastic, trying to juggle so many things at one go! Taking care of a 4month old is already MORE than a full time job! Exhausted is really an understatement.

You have it in you to do this! Way to go!

Hi Jordan, Thanks for sharing with us. Hope things work out for you keep strong. All the best to you.

Planning is the secret to success Jordan.

Derek

Jordan, great work. You have a lot of responsibility, so just pace yourself. Schedule your time carefully. Family comes first, job (finding one) then WA.
Relax and enjoy the journey.

It is difficult when trying to do 10 different things at once, and stress is hard in its self, overthing can be a major factor for stress.

I use a notebook and create a list of things or habits on a night that I do during the day and time them? The goal is to cut them out altogether so I can free more time up to work on my business, even if this means asking a hand from a family member, every lttle helps?

Once I cut my daily habits out I have a check list then tick off my daily tasks like updating worpress site, put in some training on WA or do some content writing for my posts and affiliate research.
Anyway best of luck thought I would throw some tips in there for you ☺

Karl.
