TWITTER BRAINSTORMING

I've mentioned before that I have a little 'Twitter Ad Service' that I've enjoyed doing since March of 2012. I run it through Fiverr.com and it makes just about enough per month to take my wife and I out to a nice dinner. Well, I was going through a little brainstorming of ways to promote the 'gig' and I was out on Twitter and noticed that they had a little camera icon below the normal comment box. Hmmmmmm, I thought, what if I offered to Tweet a client's photo in addition to the usual text description and link?
Then the wheels started turning and I started thinking photos of what? How about pictures and comments about:
1. Your eBay auction.
2. Your new product.
3. You and your bride.
4. You and your girlfriend or boyfriend.
5. Your favorite person or hero.
6. Your favorite Rock Star.
7. Your favorite pet.
8. Your favorite piece of art.
9. Your favorite Affiliate Link.
This list could go til 999,999,999 :) So, I went to Google Shortener and shortened my Fiverr Gig link and incorporated it into something that would fit into Twitter (140 characters or less). It looked like:
I will tweet a pic of you and your bride
(with comment) to my Twitter followers
at >>> ****my Fiverr link**** arrow keys for a subtle 'call to action' and it's also a convenient message changer in case you want to tweet the same tweet more than once in 24 hours. Add or subtract 1 arrow and it changes the Tweet. My ad clients pay for two tweets, but I always give an extra bonus tweet - so I need to be able to alter the message 3 times in 24 hours.
So, I'm thinking that this little brainstorming session might put some life back into my Twitter Ad Service. I took the above photo with my smartphone (did a scary alteration) and then created the graphic in Photoshop. Here's a link to my Twitter Ad Service in case you'd like to see it.
