Sticking With It

From starting out as a complete newbie, I have been graduallly working my way through the training and incorporating that into a web site. I think I have it looking pretty good so far. And I've created a few blog posts and have tried to use the low-hanging-fruit approach to seo.
Thus far though, other than family and friends and my WA cohorts and a couple of spammers, I don't think anyone has seen my web site. And I'm still totally invisible on Google.
But I knew when I started that my venture would not be an overnight sensation. I knew it would take work to get through all the training, and understand it and implement it. I'm still not all the way through the training, and my content is still fairly thin. Also I have yet to add any affiliate links or anything.

I also knew going in that it would take some time to get the ball rolling and get some traffic and start to make some sales, and build from there.
So how am I feeling about all this? Great! I came mentally preparedbecause I have been learning about goal setting, mental attitude, and success motivation for quite awhile before I started at Wealthy Affiliates.
And I am so blessed that I already have income from a job, and I can keep on living just as before, while I build my internet business. I find that gratitude for what I have helps keep me focused and positive.
I have learned that persistence, focus, and clear goals are some of the keys to success. Another one is making sure that your self-talk is having a positive effect on your subconscious mind. That is, ALWAYS feed your mind wholesome thoughts about success, your own capability, and whatever else that a person might tend to need to speak positively to him/her self about.
Continuing to feed oneself positive thoughts and affirmations, and never letting oneself speak negatively to one's self is necessary to get the subconscious mind to kick into gear and help rather than hinder success. If the subconscious mind has incorporated positive beliefs and self image, it will make a huge impact on success.
I'm here for the long haul. Persistence. Consistent work. Continuing to push on regardless. And with that, I know I will reach my goals, with God's help. And so can you!
