Changing From All In One SEO To Yoast SEO

Hi All,

If and when I join Thrive Themes they recommend using Yoast SEO with their themes. I believe it takes some time to transfer all the information over, hopefully there is a step by step process to get this done.

I would have thought there are quite a few WA members who have changed from All In One SEO to Yoast SEO, if so could you please give me your feedback on your thoughts and are you are happy with Yoast SEO.

Weather permitting, try and have a great relaxing weekend or if you are in the area of the hurricane, I wish you all the luck in the world.

Thank you,

John

Yes, I did. I much prefer Yoast SEO. Once you have written your page or post, they will tell you exactly what you need to do to improve it for the search engines. When the light turns green you are good to go. Tom

Thank you, Tom.

That is a great feature, will look forward to using Yoast SEO.

John

Not got there yet John, sorry :)

Giulia

You will soon, Giulia.

Hi John. A lot of people think AIO is better for SEO and a lot are using Yoast. I personally think AIO is better, but I suggest you go to the search bar and type "yoast or all". Read a few questions and blogs. I think it is worth an investigation before you just change:))

Thank you, Rika.

They are both excellent SEO plugins, but I am going to sign up with Thrive Themes after watching some of their webinars. The Co-Owner says that their themes are more compatible with Yoast SEO which is on their webinars so he should know.
I have read a few "best SEO Yoast or AIO reviews on Google, Yoast wins but only just, certain features AIO is better and certain features Yoast is better.

John

Thank you for follow me

Not a problem Barbara, nice to meet you.

Changing from All In One SEO to Yoast SEO means that with every post, and page, currently on your website you will need to go into Edit mode, scroll down to the end of the content and enter the details Yoast requires. Yoast will show Red and Green indicators.

It will be a little time consuming, depending on the amount of content on your site, but I believe it is worthwhile.

Also, you do not need to have every indicator green, but if you look for 'Readability' and 'SEO' in the top left-hand side and make sure the SEO is Green you will be fine. You can go back at a later date and aim for Green Readability.

Thank you, Valerie.

I have found a step by step guide on Google to change to Yoast. The google site is "Shout Me Loud" so I will follow this.

That's good news John.
Thanks for sharing the Google site.
What I had to do when making the change was correct, but maybe there is a better and quicker way.
I'll find out!

So looks like Yoast has some use after all!

Hi Mike,

It certainly looks like it, especially for compatibility with Thrive Themes.

Thank you,

John

I was considering Yoast myself.

Hi Robert,

They are both very good SEO plugins but if I become a Thrive Themes member they recommend Yoast SEO.
