Decided To Take A Break From WA
Hi All,
A very difficult decision with so many friends here, I have decided to take an indefinite break from Wealthy Affiliate.
I have been thinking about it for quite a while now, but the WA magnet was too strong. My website has been enjoyable to build and I have learnt a lot. You are a great community and should be proud of yourselves.
During the 14 months of being here I followed all the training etc, but didn't do the bootcamp due to not promoting Wealthy Affiliate.
I have worked very hard, building up my website and spending many hours every day, trying to build my website to the best of my ability. Many evenings working on my site, it would be early hours of the morning before calling it a night/day !!!!
Not working due to suffering from depression and anxiety for over 12 months, I have been working on my site full time. I have made a decision and set a target to return to work next summer if possible full time..
I want to take from today to completely re-charge my batteries, without any pressure of daily targets building websites etc etc. I am going to try and chill out completely.
My WA and Jaaxy subscription is good for another year. I am not cancelling anything yet. Good luck to all of you.

I understand your reasons, and even a "silent" website can bring in sales and referrals, put at least a WA advertising banner in your sidebar and on your about me page, you never know:) I wish you well John. Perhaps you are going to miss us and decide to drop by on a Sunday, once in a while:)

Sad to hear you are leaving but glad to hear you have a good plan in place.
Your peace of mind is paramount and must be put first, so, take care and be good to yourself as well as those in your care and it will work out.....
We will definitely miss you here.

I'll miss your frequent posts, especially the ones about the crazy dog lady, but you need to take care of yourself. If that means taking a break you're making the right decision.

I suppose you'll take the break because you have your reasons but if you need it just do it. I am sure you will miss, here, to a lot of people that you have helped, you can return when you decide anyway...

I understand completely. You have to take care of yourself. As someone who also struggles with depression and anxiety, I know how essential it is to manage your energy. Good on you for doing what needs to be done. Enjoy your break.
