How to find extra time when you are busy.
As I work ten hour days in remote North West Queensland Australia where this time of year the temperature ca reach 45 degrees Celsius or 113 degrees Fahrenheit I find it hard to write much content after work. So I joined the 5am club. The idea comes from the Robin Sharma book The Everyday Hero Manifesto where you get up at 5am then exercise for 20 minutes then think about what you are grateful for and where you want to be in your life for the next 20 minutes then for the final 20 minutes read or listen to information that can help you in your life. It's now 6am and you are ready for the day. I will write content for an hour before I start work. Starting the day this way has been life changing for me. As someone who never liked getting up early after doing this for a few months I really like it. If you start your day like this you feel motivated all day. Would you join the 5am club. Kind regards John

I may try this. I don't mind getting up early. Unfortunately, I waste time looking at my phone. So I should use my time more wisely. I can't exercise, as I have chronic pain, but I can do yoga. Then I will do my gratitude for 20 minutes. I already keep a gratitude journal, but this will be more focused. Then I'll read my Bible and pray. What do you think?

PS Did you get help with your formatting issue?
Yoga sounds good then gratitude then bible is a great way to start the day. I haven’t worked out my formatting issue yet but I will work it out. Thanks for following me.
I like the idea of the 3 x 20 minute periods. I currently get up between 4:30 and 5 AM 6 days a week. Sunday I sometimes sleep in till 6 or 6:30.
However I do not have much structure to that first hour. I am often in the office by 5 or 5:30 depending on my wake-up time. I can see how some structure to the first hour or so would be of benefit.
I have always been an early riser (I like mornings), but before when working as a contractor for others there was always something to be done. Now that I am working for myself, I have less focus and my boss is a pushover.
Thanks
Alex
