A few hurdles getting to lesson # 2

Just finishing lesson # 2It's kind of hard doing something when it's all new specially when it's about working with computers.I'am more of a hands on person, physical things come to me a lot easier.

Like soccer and baseball as a kid I was really good at sports I think I may have had something to do with several of my teams going to the finals.

If you read my bio will see I have had several jobs in my life.Presently I do renovating and home repairs, some people call me magic man.

After doing property management for 30 years I find it very gratifying when the home owner gives me a large tip for a job well done.

So, progressing through the lessons at wa have sometimes been challenging because I'am trying to figure out the computer and the lessons and content etc.

Like when I was trying to get my gravatar with my name on it and it just wasn't happening.I had so many people helping me word press, wa, even a young lady who recently went through 2 years of technical school could not get it right. 2 weeks later on my smart phone at midnight I finally got it .

The good news the other day I was at staples, a large computer and office supply store close to my home. This young man who works there says he designs web sites for $ 15.00 canadian an hour, wow that seems pretty cheap. I think this guy just may become one of my best friends and a future wa member ha ha !

He said he likes to use Weebly, its easier to use than word press drop and drag but reading on google word press is better for blogging.This is going to give me a big help with my site so it will look a lot more professional with color etc. hopefully.

So, I still find wa exciting to read, how well some of you are doing and can hardly wait to see my first sale.I also want to start another site about home repairs the right way since I have saved people a lot of money in the past with repairs or renos that last and don't fall apart like so many I have seen.

I have a lot of good ideas on home repairs, some people call me magic man that might be a good name ?

The site I have now is about health. Since I was 19 years old I have been taking vitamins juicing etc.My website is vitaminsforalongerlife.com which in hindsight I think is too long and maybe vitamin nut would have been better cause thats what a lot of my friends have called me in the past for taking so many vitamins.

I think its working though because my health is pretty good for my age I can't believe I turned 68 on December 5th . My blood pressure is always around 100 over 60 I weigh 185 lbs. approx at 6 ft tall and no real ailments, I dont wear glasses for distance but close up is getting a little harder but over all I'am pretty healthy !

I always recommend people to take their vitamins we don't get enough from the so called food we eat everyday.So onward and upward as one of our friends on WA says, you know who you are !
