My first week!
So I've been on WA for just over a week now. After going through the free training it was clear to me that this is a quality program, and the monthly membership is worth it and should pay dividends down the road.
My biggest hurdle was coming up with a concept for my site. I love travel, sailing, and photography. I wanted to do something with photography because, let's be honest, the equipment is expensive and affiliate commissions would be higher. There are countless photography sites on the web, but hardly any that focus solely on Canon DSLR Cameras. So that was the niche I chose. To my amazement, CanonCameraEquipment.com was available so I bought it.
Now I'm in the process of creating keyword-rich content. It's going to take a lot of work but I'm prepared to do so, and am excited about the potential for this site.
I'm not expecting to make a lot of money at first...I'm just going to wait until I see my first conversion, figure out what worked and what didn't, and tailor it from there.
I'm blown away at how much I've learned about SEO and creating a commerce website based on that. Thanks guys!
