Posts on my new website
I've started to add some posts to beef up the content although I am not too sure where the structure is going with this. I think it is important to maintain momentum though and pick up the technical stuff as I develop the site. I had a beautiful walk around Derwentwater in the Lake District today, crystal blue skies, snow on the tops, and the last of the autumn colours. If that doesn't get the creative juices going nothing will. It's chucking it down tonight with a howling gale so I'm snuggled up in the caravan with the laptop and a glass of my favourite tipple. It's a hard life but it's got to be done.

I have fond memories of Derwentwater and the Lake District. And I am happy for you - that you can combine beautiful walks and the things you love with the work you do on your website. I too was admiring the autumn colours yesterday when I took my dog for a walk.
Yes it's a wonderful place Isabelle. We have a static caravan on the Derwentwater site and I spend a fair bit of time over here. I've got a small boat and if I'm not walking I tootle around the lake. The RAF have a low level route over the lake which adds to the interest.
We have a Lake District relief map and the set of Wainwright guides. Will refresh my memory...
