They'll typically ask you for your FTP info and domain name, they'll set up a staging site and upload files, one you okay everything you may then point your domain to WA servers.
It is also recommended you back up site, you may use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins, UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.
You can also migrate site yourself if you know what you are doing
Here's a step by step how it is done Migrate site over to wa hosting?
Once migrated
You may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.
To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. How to Transfer a Domain Name to Wealthy Affiliate How To Point Your Domain Name To WA NEW Go Daddy DNS details to make it work: To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $15, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.
Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.
So far I have rebuilt my website on a Siterubix site and tested to see if all works and I am happy with that.
The idea is to point the Name servers today to WA, release the domain and transfer it to WA.
I will then attach my domain to the Siterubix site when ready.
I will let you know how it goes.
Thank you again for the information.
It took around 5 days for the transfer process to complete.
The domain is finally here and you have to enable hosting for the domain by going to Site Domains and click on settings next to your domain name.
I then went to my Siterubix site, click on 'Move' and select my newly transferred domain from the list.
Now it will just be to make sure everything looks good after the migration.
All in all the process was pretty easy to do.
Thanks again.
