Surprise Referral
So, Here's your inspirational message of the day.
I woke up yesterday around 6pm in the evening, as I normally do, and ventured over to WA for my recap of what I missed. I often check my statistics just to see how much traffic I get coming to WA for fun. I was super surprised when I noticed that I had 96 clicks and 1 referral. The clicks were fine, I normally get 40-100 a day, but I saw the referral and couldn't believe it.
So John, what's the point, you may be asking?
I don't promote Wealthy Affiliate at all. So, to snag 1 referral was pretty exciting. Granted, the chances that the person will upgrade to Premium are slim to none, it just caught me off guard.
Where did this referral come from? I say I don't promote WA, but I do actually do it indirectly sometimes. Some of the members here (who are awesome) sometimes will share my blogs on their own social media outlets, and I also recently put together a Twitter database on the software automation that I use that had a few links to my WA blogs. A few people have downloaded the database and are using it.
So, the referral could have come from any of those sources. Not too shabby.
On to the inspiration!
Remember guys, you don't even have to be promoting WA to get a little slice of the pie. Even if you get 5-10 total Premium Sign Ups, you're still looking at extra cash on the side. You don't have to dedicate a blog to promote WA. You can spread the virus just on your social media platforms, or even hell, word of mouth! You have friends right? They have hobbies and interests right? Don't be afraid to promote where you normally wouldn't think too.
Have Fun.. because in the end. That's all that matters. If you don't enjoy what you are doing... Change it.
