Expectations. It can be as much of a stumbling block as an inspiration.

It is easy to misinterpret your own fears and dreams as actual walls that make up a labyrinth through which we attempt to find our way to the goals that we wish to achieve.

So much of what we perceive as insurmountable obstacles are smoke and mirrors, but does that make it any less “real” than physical boundaries?

If your progress is brought to a halt, does it matter what is causing your standstill. Sure it affects the way in which the problem needs to be addressed, but either way, you still need to get past whatever obstacle it is that stands in your way and the solution lies somewhere within ourselves...

For many of us who are undertaking this journey in the hope of achieving financial relief at the end of the tunnel, even relatively small setbacks can derail us, causing us to lose our direction or give up.

The COVERT19 situation is having a widespread effect on morale undermining our self-confidence at a time when we need to be at our strongest. Starting a new online enterprise now, when one is constantly being reminded of economic collapse as so many businesses are being forced to stay in lock down seems like madness.

And yet for me personally this my biggest and dare I say only hope - I don’t have a 9-5 to go back to when everything reverts back to normal.

Maybe because of enforced isolation and the growing insecurities that we are facing, now might prove to be the best time ever to establish oneself as an affiliate marketer. If society is going to change dramatically, being able to work and earn a living through the internet does have certain advantages that few brick and mortar industries can match.

The freedom of being able to work from home may very well become the norm, it certainly makes sense not having to commute to a designated place of work, clogging up the transport networks and adding to CO2 emissions.

Earlier I read the blog post of Desireoz2 “My Disappointment-Should I Give It Up Here Or Try It Somewhere?” and it made me grateful that Wealthy Affiliate grants us access to a community through which we can support and help each other. There are a lot of us who are working alone and if it wasn’t for the support and infrastructure of WA many of us, myself included, would have given up some time ago already.

Thank you for your blog post Yaovi Koumi, you made me realize that I am not the only one struggling with a computer which is misbehaving and testing my patience to the limit.

Keep at it Yaovi and I will too.
