Have you ever kept a spam comment?
Curious, because while most of them are just amusing to try to decipher and obviously spam, I like to go through them individually instead of just bulk-deleting them. Occasionally I'll come across one that's (almost) well-written and you wouldn't be able to tell it was spam until you looked at their link. Bad idea to keep these (while deleting their links) to bulk up my comments? Yes, I know I can get comments here, it was just a curiosity question.

To expand upon my own post... I honestly can't tell if some of them are spam. Some of their sites seem legit, as well as the comments. I'm both afraid of deleting someone real, and keeping someone fake.
Don't worry too much about that Joseph. Install a plugin called anti-spam and it'll regulate that issue. As for comments you're not sure about, if the comment does not serve any purpose in raising your content quality (doesn't add to any discussion), delete it.

We are constantly worrying about these things .I just try to keep my time and concern about this at low key are I will always be driving myself crazy. But I get what you are saying.
