The most dangerous part of a pilot's trip?

  • The drive to the airport! That is true.
  • Everyone asks if the takeoff or the landing is the most dangerous?
  • Both... each have their own potential hazards.
  • Pilots's fear engine failure on takeoffs.
  • We fear high winds and obstacles on landings.
  • PIlot's say that flying is hours of boredom punctuated by moments of sheer panic!

What has this to do with WA? EVERYTHING!

There are many ups and downs with online marketing... prepare for them! If you don't prepare, you will be shocked and the temptation to quit can be very strong.

Post daily to your website... blog daily at WA... reply to all your posts... tweak your website... work hard and plan for success.

All this is necessary if you plan to be successful. So, you do that daily and whamo! The bottom falls out. Your rankings drop... your visits dry up... Google doesn't even know you exist!

You feel like it is not worth it... why am I paying to get nothing... I can get that without having to pay for it!

Just know that it is going to happen. Don't get discouraged... be determined that this too shall pass and pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again!

What I learned in the cockpit has given me a great deal of insight to life and how fragile it is. I am not a bull pilot so I am alive. As in everything. Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous but it is totally unforgiving of any inability inadequacy or neglect. I see that it applies to wealthy affiliate as well thanks again Joe

You know what they say...there are old pilots and there are bold pilots, but there are no old, bold pilots!
Joe

That's exactly why I said I was not a bold pilot. If anybody ever asks me how about my flying career I told him there were times when I was scared shittless. Especially in the days of single pilot IFR flying Freight in the mountains of Montana and they are unforgiving. I remember the time when I was on an ILS into Kalispell Montana and I lost both my AirSpeed indicators had ice everywhere so I could only fly airplane with power and stay on the Glide slope. the only other things that scared me as when I fell asleep when I was flying alone. I guess I'll have to tell a story in my blog thank you Joe

Thanks for the ups and downs. Like my auto battery, negative and positive must be connected. I would like to have more control over emotional regulation. I have been working on this for years. I have shoulds in my brain. They seem to create something I don't think is helpful. Albert Ellis coined the term mustterbation. When I insist that someone or something must go as think it should, I created a disturbance in myself. I continue to work on this. Jeffrey We drive our selves crazy. And I believe your post says "I don't have to". Thanks

Hi Joe,

I think you have a very strong attention span. You must have if you were a pilot.

Great post.

Nicola

Lucky guess!
Joe

Yes I agree, wouldn't you call that life?
Kento

Yep.
