It's all in the numbers
How do you stack up?
- The adage is true: "Throw enough mud on the wall and some will stick".
- Do the training and you will learn some things you never heard of.
- Study the posts that others have made and learn from them.

- Get your website up and running.
- Post on it every day if possible.
Few, if any here can remember the famous U.S. baseball player, Babe Ruth. He was known for years as the "home run king," making 714 home runs in his career, which stood for years. Few know that he was also known as the "strikeout king," with 1330 strikeouts!
During a game when Lefty Groves was pitching against him, he told his manager that he felt sorry for Lefty. "You should be for he struck you out the last two times you were at bat"!
He said, "I know that when I strike out 2 times, I have a home run coming"! He then pointed to the left field and hit the ball out of the park!
Keep on hitting...it's all in the numbers. Keep posting. Keep writing. Keep winning. We're all winners here at WA.
It's in the numbers, so enjoy the journey.

Thanks Melissa.
Took 81 years to get here but you will do it much quicker!
Keep on learning and enjoying.

So true. The only people who have never failed are people who have never tried.
I used to be an actor. When you are an actor auditioning you are usually told “No” (or in casting agent speak “Thank you”). As a career it can be soul crushing. Ah, but those few times hear “yes.” They can be glorious!
Yep. It’s a numbers game.
I have always been fascinated by the "metrics" of baseball. Batters making outs 70% of the time make millions of dollars and are all -stars. I found old newspapers from the 1920s. Babe Ruth was 0 for 4. I expected to find that he hit at least one home run. Lou Gehrig had not started yet, since Wally Pipp was playing first base.
