Yea, that's how I learned to fly!
- No GPS... no autopilot... no heater... air conditioner? Yep.
- Them was the days! That was flying... real flying.
- Grass strips... no runways... no navigational aids.
- Real flying.
What's this got to do with me?

- Yes, I long for the "good ole days".
- I love to read and write about things beside the Corona Virus!
Wouldn't you love to go back to a restaurant?
- I'd love to go to a movie!
- What a treat to have a drink with friends.
- Wouldn't you love to buy toilet paper again?
- How great it would be to sit down at Starbucks with a great cup of coffee and the IPad.
Well, it's coming! Life will return to "normal," whatever normal is to you, but it will be different!
Things will never be the same as we knew it. We may never shake hands again... will always wash our hands and sing "happy birthday" twice.
We're all in this together. Don't forget to give thanks for our wonderful doctors and nurses who are risking their lives for us. Never forget our first defenders, police and firefighters, who protect us.
It's the "wind in our face" that we need. It's coming!

Thanks Joe.. before, everyone was on Auto pilot and the Good ole days were simple as we dolled around in traffic trying to get to work, ate lunch at 1100 and came home at 5. We stopped at the store on our way home and got some bread and hygiene necessities via Dead Reckoning with maybe a stop over to re-fuel at our local watering hole.
Today we are grounded.. plane is in the hanger receiving some much needed maintenance and the Flight doc has restricted our movement.
It’s not the end of times as this too shall soon pass.. it’s a time to reflect on how lucky we were to live in a world where everything was so abundant. A time to change our flight plan and stop flying by the seat of our pants anymore.
Life will change.. but it will better mankind and how we see each other globally. What man has tried for centuries it took an invisible foe to conquer the world.
Together, as a collective we will win this fight.. and the world will be a better place for it.
I look forward to that Fuel Stop with friends coming in the future, but, until then... stay healthy and for the time being.. slow your roll.

Medical professionals and first responders are as much herous as the firefighters who rushed into the burning New York Trade center towers.
And a special thanks to those people who work in grocery stores. They work for pretty low pay but without them continuing to put their lives at risk how would we even get food?

I can't even drive my CAR without GPS, Joe. I can't imagine being in a plane with no road signs!!!! I'd run out of fuel trying to get from Point A to Point B.
LOL. They actually have an ad on TV from a tp manufacturer saying that we shouldn't worry. They are making it as fast as they can and will stock the shelves so don't hoard. Can you BELIEVE that. I just had to shake my head.
Restaurants -- yes, but you can keep Starbucks. Peets and Tim Horton would work though.
