My top 5 niche choices

Often times people are confused or don't know what niche website to create.

Too bad, I can't tell you what niche to create a website in, but what I can do is show you the process I use to research a niche.

I want you to try and focus on my thought process for selecting these niches. I hope this will help you select a niche perfect for you!

Niche Selection

1. It has to be something that I can update often.
2. It has to be something that I can relate to on a personal level.
3. There must be products available to tie into the niche (earn your commission.)
4. The niche must have strong ranking ability with low competition.
5. The niche must have an increase or a steady trend in Google Trends.

1. Adult Coloring Books

As you can see on Google Trends there has been a dramatic increase in searches for Adult Coloring Books. Additionally, in terms of search terms, there are a lot of them with little to no competition.

Coloring is something as an adult I do enjoy to do. This would be a topic that I could easily write about and include product links from Amazon.

2. Smart Watch

Smart Watches have really taken off in the past 2 years, as you can see by the Google Trends. I love technology and personally I have the Apple Watch. This would be another niche that would be easy for me to write content for. Also using Jaaxy you can see that there are still a lot of excellent keywords for the taking!

3. Loosing Weight

Loosing weight is something that I have struggle with all of my life. Again this is an easy niche for me to write about. Google Trends doesn't necessarily have this topic on an upward spike, but it is a constant trend -- which is also a great thing! A quick search on Jaaxy shows several search terms that look very promising.

4. New iPhone

I have personally had each iPhone ever made. So of course this would be an easy topic for me. But, everyone knows that Apple releases a new iPhone every year. This will always be a hot niche (at least until something new comes along.) Google Trends shows the huge spikes around the time of the launch of the new iPhone. With this niche you might not be able to sell the new iPhones, but you can certainly link to covers, protection plans, guides, jailbreaking services, etc... A quick Jaaxy search reveals several keyword terms still ripe for the picking!

5. Phishing Websites

Online scams or phishing websites are increasing dramatically. Google Trends shows that more and more people are searching for these scams. Jaaxy revels that there are several keywords that are good for this niche. Being an Internet researcher, this would an ideal target for me. There are numerous resources for identify theft protection that pay a residual income. You could always sign the consumers up for this service.

Well that's my Top 5...

There are certainly a lot more good niches out there. The most important thing is that it is something you have a strong knowledge about or can research to find information.
